I had the half pound shrimp w fries and fried okra. Hubby had the shrimp and flounder plate with fries and okra. Both meals were great. Service was quick. Keep in mind this is a seafood store and not a sit-down style restaurant. Food is freshly prepared. Lines can be long. It's a great locals stop. Worth the wait on the busy days.

The food is fresh and cook to order. They have the BEST seafood ever!! Don't be fooled by the building that's why it took me so long to even go inside because I didn't think they cook food in there, but they do, and trust me, you won't be disappointed!! They sell uncooked seafood as well, but I love when they cook it. Their seafood is the BOMB!!

This place has truly gone down. The previous reviews were from earlier this year. The folks that used to work there and cook the food don't work there anymore. One person there trying to cook the food and smoke cigarettes at the same time. Buyer beware. Place is not at all the same. Some of the seafood is spoiled. Speaking about the shrimps and oysters.

I am very disappointed with their poor business practices. I arrived this morning right after they opened and asked for blue crab. I was told to be back at 1:30 to make sure I got part of the day's catch. The clerk wouldn't take my number in case they came early and wouldn't let me pay in advance for reserve. I was told "first come - first served" I double-checked the time, came back BEFORE 1:30 only to find they sold out an hour prior. I live less than 5 minutes away and could have easily come early. Technically I was "first come" but definitely not "first served". Now Capt. Don's is sold out too, and I will have a disappointing dinner party. They will not have my business nor my recommendation.
